Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) or Liquefied Bio Gas (LBG) can be used in energy production or other industrial processes to replace heavy fuel oil or liquefied petroleum gas, for instance. LNG or LBG is also an excellent alternative fuel for heavy traffic.

LNG is an environmentally-friendly and energy-efficient fuel. It contains no heavy metals or sulfur and its use does not produce harmful particle emissions. The CO2 emissions of LNG are also notably smaller than those of many other fuels. Furthermore, the calculated CO2 emissions of LBG are nearly zero.

The generated pure combustion gases can be used, for instance, for heating, drying and food production.

LNG satellite stations

In Finland, the use of LNG is a relatively new field. At Sarlin, we have gained experience and expertise in LNG vaporising technology, for instance, through LNG satellite filling stations we have delivered.

We provide complete LNG satellite stations with containers and vaporisers as a turnkey service. The station can be equipped with fixed vertical or horizontal containers or even with mobile LNG containers in certain cases.

The cost-effective station solutions are configured and tailored according to the client’s needs. LNG vaporisers can utilise the temperature of the surrounding air or warm water, if it is available.

The configuration is effected by the required power, evenness of consumption and logistic viewpoints, as LNG is delivered to the containers with trucks.
