Speed Monitoring Units
Motrona's programmable speed monitoring devices have a short response time.
Programmable speed monitoring devices have a very short response time. Various options are available for monitoring over-speed, under-speed, stopping, and rotation direction.
Standard rotary motion incremental sensors and other pulse-generating sensors or measuring devices are suitable for connection. Performance is sufficient for pulse input frequencies up to 1 MHz.
The front panel of the device has four user-friendly keys for programming and a two-line backlit LCD display. Alternatively, the device can also be configured on a PC using Motrona's operator software.
Quick and easy DIN rail mounting does not require additional accessories.
For example, DZ260 is equipped with three potential-free changeover relays, which can be assigned to the desired speed monitoring type. Additionally, a freely scalable 14-bit analog output is available for control and regulation purposes. The MS640 model also has a local display to indicate the desired reading.
