Pressure Transmitter for Mobile Hydraulics, ADZ Nagano, SMO Series

SMO series pressure transmitters are specifically designed for mobile applications and vehicle use, such as forestry and mining machinery. Resistance to electromagnetic interference and functionality in extreme conditions form the basis of the SMO pressure transmitters' design, making it the "big brother" of the SML series. EMC compatibility is particularly important in vehicle applications. SMO converters can be equipped with a "load dump" module, providing overvoltage protection according to ISO 7637. Additionally, SMO converters can be fitted with dampers. These dampers are designed to reduce pressure spikes, especially in hydraulic applications. Dampers are available with an orifice diameter of 0.6 mm or 0.3 mm. The pressure port and sensor element are made of stainless steel and laser-welded using a special process.
