Parker OFAS Compressed Air Drying Systems

The Parker OFAS (Oil-Free Air System) integrates filtration for clean, dry, and oil-free compressed air: ISO 8573-1 Class 0.

Parker OFAS (Oil Free Air System) dryer systems have integrated filtration. The combination of an optimized compressed air dryer and advanced OIL-X filtration technology produces the desired class of clean air.

OFAS dryer systems produce clean, dry, and oil-free air with a pressure dew point of -20 c, -40 c, or -70 c. If the application requires completely oil-free air, even when using ISO 8573-1 Class 0 oil-free compressors, the air must still be purified, as impurities can enter through the compressor’s intake air. The OFAS dryer system can produce "technically oil-free air" even from oil-lubricated compressors.

The desiccant is in a cartridge filled using snowstorm filling. Snowstorm filling maximizes the tight distribution of the desiccant, prevents air channeling, and ensures a consistent dew point. The pressure drop remains low, and the air quality meets the ISO 7183 and ISO 8573-1 requirements.

Compressed air quality classes ISO 8573-1:2010

OFAS - clean, dry, oil-free air
 Class 2.2.0 - dew point -40 c
 Class 2.1.0 - dew point -70 c
 Class 2.3.0 - dew point -20 c
