Safety Light Curtains for Special Applications
From factories to extreme remote locations, Red Lion’s HMI operator panels allow customers to connect, monitor, and control processes across multiple industries, such as manufacturing, oil and gas, and water/wastewater management.
Safety light curtains and beams are suitable for special structures because their beams always cross each other.
- With crossed beams, it is possible to create various structures according to the customer's needs, e.g., asymmetrical or circular.
- A safety mat is achieved by installing only one transmitter per cell, but multiple receivers.
- Light curtains and beams are Type 2 compliant as is.
- If light curtains and beams are connected to a safety relay BOX 2/4, they become Type 4 compliant.
- Available with protective tubes IP67 or IP69K, IP67 – can be equipped with heaters.
- Resolution (the smallest object that can be detected under all conditions and at all points): 18 mm (finger protection) ... 400 mm (body protection)
- Light curtain heights 144...1152 mm, max distance 16 m
- Light beams can be up to 2...3 m high
