Graphite Modules
Red Lion Graphite HMI and controller devices offer a scalable plug-and-play expansion solution, which allows integrating complex multi-vendor environments. With the modules, PID control, data collection, and communication can be managed, and the Graphite platform enables device integration, monitoring, and control to meet demanding application requirements. Additionally, the Graphite Crimson® Control module enables the use of IEC 61131 programming languages for logic programming without additional costs.








Crimson Control Module
The Graphite Crimson Control module connects to Graphite HMI devices to form a comprehensive industrial solution that adds IEC 61131 control functionality without the need for additional space or a separate programming package. Crimson Control enables the use of IEC 61131 programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Function Block, Structured Text, and Instruction List for logic programming, allowing users to address specific application needs by programming logic similarly to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or remote telemetry units (RTUs) at no extra cost.

PID Control Modules
Offloading temperature control from the PLC
is a smart choice. Previously, integrating real-time PID controllers required hours of custom PLC protocol development, which was costly and complex with separate controllers. Graphite PID control modules work with Graphite HMI and control devices, offering drag-and-drop configuration and pre-built drivers that allow high-density multi-zone systems to be set up in just minutes. PID control modules are available in single-loop or dual-loop versions. Additional features include SSR output, heater current monitoring, relay output, and analog outputs. The modules can operate in On/Off, P, PI, or PID control modes and use an auto-tune function if needed.

Data Collection
Monitoring and controlling remote devices is now easy and intuitive with Graphite data collection modules. Digital I/O, universal, analog, and thermocouple/RTD modules enable any device or sensor to connect to Graphite HMI and control devices. Inputs are isolated from outputs and can be configured independently for high or low active states.
