Fiber Optic Converter for Encoders (3km)

The Motrona fiber optic converter pair LW213 (transmitter) and LW214 (receiver) converts the incremental sensor's pulse message into an optical signal and transmits it over long distances without interference, operating at a wavelength of 1300 nm, reaching up to 3000 m.

Optical data transmission is also immune to electrical interference. The fiber optic converter operates at a wavelength of 1300 nm up to 3000 m. Devices typically offering pulse signals are used in applications such as length, speed, and flow measurements.

  • It is possible to convert various measuring devices’ TTL and HTL Push-Pull level pulse signals.
  •  A maximum of four optically transmitted pulse channels can be used, with a maximum data transmission rate of up to 2 Mbit/s.
  • The converter pair LW213 acts as a transmitter, converting pulse signals for optical transmission up to 3000 meters.
  • LW214 acts as a receiver, converting optical signals back to their original pulse form. The maximum pulse input frequency is up to 1 MHz, and the conversion time is less than 300 ms.
